Mark Sorlie is a native of Conrad, MT and graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman in 1972 with a B.S. in Accounting.  He has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations as well as his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications. 

The CLU designation is widely recognized as the highest level of studies in the life insurance profession. Individuals who earn the CLU must meet specified experience requirements, maintain ethical standards, and agree to comply with both The American College's Code of Ethics and Procedures and applicable continuing education requirements.

The ChFC program offers professionals in financial services the advanced education they need to better assist clients in this increasingly competitive field. Individuals who earn the ChFC must meet specified experience requirements, maintain ethical standards, and agree to comply with both The American College's Code of Ethics and Procedures and applicable continuing education requirements.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
